How We Work

Based in the beautiful Skagit Valley in northwest Washington State, Made with Love: Crafting for a Cause represents the old and new in crafting. Our meetings are traditional crafting circles, where we share our lives as we lovingly handcraft goods. On the modern side, we make small, simple items so creativity can fit into a busy crafter’s spare hours. And because project information is online, people can either attend our craft circle meetings or join us long-distance. We alternate among local, national, and international charities serving a variety of populations from children to the elderly. There’s a world of needs out there. We can’t do everything, but we can use our talents and our passions to create objects that show people love, one craft at a time.

What can you do?

If you live in our area, we’d love to see you at our craft circle meetings regardless of your skill or your skill level. (Our meetings are a great way to learn or to share what you know.) You can come to one or all of the meetings and stay for a part or for the duration. If you don’t live nearby or otherwise can’t attend the craft circles, you can be just as much a part of it by creating at home and sending us your craft. If you don’t craft–or if you have another skill you think we might be able to use–there may be other ways you can contribute. Feel free to contact us to ask questions or make suggestions.
